After originally launching the AirPort Time Capsule base stations in 1999 Apple has officially discontinued the line after doing little updates since its launch. An Apple spokesperson has confirmed in a statement to the press.
“We’re discontinuing the Apple AirPort base station products. They will be available through Apple.com, Apple’s retail stores and Apple Authorised Resellers while supplies last.”
An Apple spokesperson told Engadget that the company would continue to provide hardware and software support, but the devices themselves will only be available “while supplies last.”
