For sometime Apple Music has been available on Amazon’s Alexa speakers and now it looks like a deal has finally been struck as the services is now making it’s way to the Google smart speakers.
Currently users of the Google smart speakers can choose between YouTube Music, Deezer Premium and Spotify. Apple Music and Tidal are the only real big players missing out. Anyone who has an Apple Music subscription can currently use Bluetooth to enjoy the music on the speakers but with this new integration users can simply link their Apple Music account through the Google Home app and set it as the default music service.
Google is slowly rolling out this feature starting in the US, UK, France, Germany, and Japan. Apple Music arrives alongside Spotify, Pandora, YouTube Music, and Deezer. Apple Music also works with Google’s multi-room audio feature.
