Apple releases beta 2 of iOS 13, iPadOS, watchOS 6, and tvOS 13 to developers

Apple released iOS 13 beta 1 just after WWDC19 finished, Apple issued iPSW’s via the developer centre without an Over The Air (OTA) update to cut down on thrill seekers installing as there were plenty of bugs.

iOS 13 has been in the works for months and the original beta is a very raw release, with beta 2 we should see some fix’s for those bugs but may introduce more.

iOS 13 brings lots of changes including but not limited to a Find My a combined Find my iPhone and Find my Friends, Dark Mode, Memoji characters for iMessage for older devices, Voice control and much much more.

For registered developers, iOS 13 beta 2 and iPadOS 13 beta 2 are available to download and test, right now. Simply go to the Settings app –> General –> Software Update and following the onscreen instructions.

Apple also seeded the second beta of iPadOS, watchOS 6, and tvOS 13 to developers. watchOS 6 offers some new features and watch faces displayed at WWDC19. Developers need to have iOS 13 beta running on their iPhone for watchOS 6 to operate successfully.

tvOS 13 adds multi-user interface just as Netflix offers but with Apple’s own personal touch. Live Lyric sync will be coming to Apple Music on the TV.
