Apple has released the sixth iOS 12.2 developer beta just one week after releasing beta 5. Currently we have seen a change of AirPlay icon in Control Center, new Animoji characters including the new shark, owl, giraffe, and warthog options, Air Quality Index reading in Maps, icon change for the News app and Apple need in Canada, Safari warns about websites not supporting HTTPS and a big focus on supporting smart TVs that work with Apple’s Home app. There have been several smaller changes over the previous beta releases.
Apple has also released the sixth beta of WatchOS 5.2 beta 4. It is likely this is the last beta with the conference next week. Registered developers can download the new iOS 12.2 beta from Apple’s Developer Center or over-the-air once the proper configuration profile has been installed from the Developer Center. We will update this article with any changes found.
