Apple Trademarks for more Beats Stations

When Apple set up Beats 1 it had a clause that allowed it to create up to five additional Beats radio stations without needing to renegotiate with labels.

This could soon change as Apple has filled trademarks for the B2, B3, B4, and B5 marks, as well as for the corresponding Beats 2, Beats 3, Beats 4, and Beats 5 marks, reports via MacRumors.

This move by Apple suggests the company is preparing to launch new stations either for different locales or perhaps different genres.

The owner of the trademark applications is listed as Beats Electronics, LLC and the applications are filed under the Telecommunications and Education classes.
