CIA Targets iOS with malware 

Wikileaks has released a mass amount of information which shows the CIA’s MDB (Mobile Devices Branch) developed numerous attacks to remotely hack and control popular smart phones.

CIA’s arsenal includes numerous local and remote “zero days” developed by CIA or obtained from GCHQ, NSA, FBI or purchased from cyber arms contractors such as Baitshop to infect, control and exfiltrate data from iPhones and other Apple products running lOS, such as iPads, Despite the fact that the iPhone has a minority share (1 4.5%) of the global smart phone market in 2016.
