EE launched its free powerbar offer after discontinuing it’s orange Wednesday offer, the new offer requires customers to text “power” to a designated number.
Shortly after its launch EE paused the offer due to the volume of demand, it relaunched the offer and honoured codes for those who were unable to get the bars the first time.
It’s now paused the offer a second time.
An EE spokesperson told Money Savings Expert: “EE Power is going from strength to strength. In the last month we’ve received requests at a rate of more than one every second. That means since the launch we’ve had over two million requests so we’re taking another short Power Pause to replenish our stock.
This temporary pause only affects those who request a code after 9am today.
EE was recently in the media after it turned out that the freebie actually meant customers were entering into a contract with EE.
