Fitbit set to take on The Watch

Fitbit is stepping up its game ready to take their war with Apple to the next stage.

At CES in Las Vegas the brand announced Fitbit Blaze, its new smart fitness watch, the wearable gadget will include a variety of enhanced features to help you make the most of your workouts, which include:

FitStar by Fitbit which are onscreen workouts, connected GPS, PurePulse heart rate tracking, and SmartTrack automatic exercise recognition to help motivate and push your fitness further.

The fitness tracker also sports a slim design, easily interchangeable bands and frames, and a beautiful colour touchscreen with a variety of clock faces to fit your personal style.

Fitbit doesn’t stop there the wearable technology includes Smart notifications, like call, text, and calendar alerts, which help you stay connected to what’s important, and includes a long battery life of up to five days so you can continue your tracking both day and night.

Fitbit also undercuts Apple on price by making the watch available for presale (£160) and changeable bands starting from £19.99 and will hit stores in March.
