Garmin’s website and Garmin Connect has been down since last Thursday, making it impossible for users to sync and upload their data to their smartphones and now many believe that the company has been subject to a ransomeware attack.
Garmin was supposed to be coming back online today, however, many of their services are limited.
Since then, no official communication has been sent by Garmin apart from the tweets and the FAQ page (which has also been announced via Twitter). The lack of communication from Garmin is frustrating their users and their FAQ states that they do not know what information has been accessed which sparks concern.
