How to get iOS 9.1 emojis on 9.0-9.0.2

Lots of people want the new emojis in iOS 9.1 but don’t want to give I their jailbreak, thankfully @PoomSmart has ported the new emojis to older firmware simply follow the guide below. (Note: In some apps, like the stock Messages app, you will still see question mark symbol when typing in the new emojis hopefully this will be fixed soon).

Step 1 Launch Cydia on your jailbroken device running iOS 9.0.2.

Step 2 Install BytaFont 2 From the ModMyi repo.

Step 3 Download and install “Emoji iOS 9.1 Backup (D)” from ModMyi repo.

Step 4 Add the developers repo http://poomsmart.github.io/repo in Cydia and then Install Emoji83+ (not “Emoji83 [BETA]) from this repo.

Step 6 Now select Emoji, EmOji_iOS 9.1. You will get a prompt saying “Are you sure you want to proceed? If you proceed, your device will respring.” Tap on Yes.

Once you have resprung you sre all set. That’s it. If you followed the above instructions to a tee, you should now have some of the new iOS 9.1 emojis in the stock keyboard on iOS 9.0.2. But as mentioned above, they won’t necessarily work in every app. .
