EE to end unlimited data for NHS staff

Back in early 2020 as the UK went into national lockdown companies started to offer perks to NHS employees. EE was one of these companies, and they offered unlimited mobile data for all NHS employees.

The offer was extended on several occasions and today the company has confirmed that from the August bill date NHS staff will loose this offer.

EE has said that they are replacing the unlimited data with a free exclusive package of perks.

EE doesn't give full details of the perks, however, they have confirmed that users who go over their allowence will stay connected at no extra cost, but at a massively reduced speed of 2mbps.

Users can still enjoy being online, using apps like WhatsApp or Facebook. We will update you with any other changes in August.
